Computers are so firmly established in our lives, that those who cannot use it - feel uncomfortable. Disputes concerning the benefits and harm from video games and computers, scientists are studying the real impact of computer games on children and adults. The right answer anyway does not exist.

Obviously, there advantages and disadvantages of the technologies and of computers in our lives. The advantages of the computer for the children are reaction speed, fine motor hand, visual perception of objects, memory and attention, logical thinking and visual-motor coordination.

As a fact, computer games also teach children to categorize and summarize, to think analytically in a precarious situation and help to improve intellectual skills.
A child, who always focuses on the computer and is fond of using it, usually feels more confident, as he has an open access to the world of modern technologies. As many people think, games on the computer – are the same as the classes, and it is always easier to bring the child to the game, rather than force to teach the alphabet or add numbers.

While playing computer games, the child falls into a fairy tale, where there is another world. Imagine, when at the end of the game a child was told "well you coped very well" or "you're a genius", it causes a child's delight! Well drawn, funny and good children's computer games include lot of interesting, clever, funny and completely focused things on the fact that the kids develop and improve their skills. A convenient and friendly controls performed by professional voices of actors will make each game a real holiday. But is should be noted that children can spend 1 hour per day playing computer games, if parents want child’s success and knowledge.

Disadvantages of using a computer by children also exist. The bad news is that when non-compliance regime of the day turns the computer from a friend to a foe. Simply put, the majority of children it is very difficult to stop, to break away from an exciting game and switch to other classes. We must not forget that all is well in balance and equilibrium. Good and interesting games, which have become useful and necessary for children, can one day become harmful to them. Parents should not forget that for every child there is a time limit for each activity. The recommendations of psychologists and pediatricians are as follows: 3-4 years - a child may be at the computer for 25 minutes, in 5-6 years - 35 minutes in the 7-8 - 40 minutes a day.

But using it for too long, a computer can lead to vision loss, as well as psychological dependence of the child from the virtual world. The problem of "golden mean" - when the computer is a friend and helper, but not the only source of pleasure, is acute in many families. We solve it in different ways - from the rigid prohibitions and penalties to permissiveness. Practically every family has their own recipes on how to limit the time spent by a child at the computer and protect it from the "computer addiction". The question of whether to ban computer games, no longer exists. There exists only reasonable limitation of time communicating with children and computers not to turn it into a sole source of knowledge about the world, replacing books, toys, and most importantly - live communication.
