Free essay about myself
Frankly speaking, it turned out to be quite a hard task for me to speak about myself. The first thing I would like to focus in is my nationality. I am Korean and spent all my life before entering a university in Korea. I am proud to be South Korea citizen and consider that this significantly influenced my family and me. I was born in South Korea, as I told before and the first thing I want to tell about Koreans is that they are hard working and very friendly nation. It won’t be surprising that from the early ages I absorbed cultural peculiarities and national tradition along side with the cultural pluralism and internationality. South Korea is open for the international investors. Its marvelous scenery and attractive geographical position attract thousands of tourists and business interested people. I entered my school at the age of 6 and I would like to tell you more about my schooling as western and eastern systems differ a lot principally (personally I think this happens because of severe difference in cultural background and history). Actually we enter school at the age of 6 in western years. But at ours, we are already 8. It should be noted that Korean language and English have a lot of differences, but at school, English was one my favorite subjects and it seems to me that I reached certain success in learning it, hence there are a lot of things to study then. The years at school are not an easy one. My school has been a strong proportional course or further education. I was taught that studying is a hard work, which needs persistence and diligence. These qualities helped me a lot in my studies. I have been dreaming about University from the early ages and my parents did my best helping me to realize my dreams. Now I am here and ready to continue my education and hope to reach new achievements and make new friends with my university mates. I think that my cultural background and traditions would be really helpful for me during the education years. My school, my parents and the traditions of my country have taught me tolerance and understanding. I am eager to learn something new and make new aquantances.

I have told you earlier that Koreans are very friendly and welcoming and that is really true. Cultural pluralism has taught my nation and I in particular respect the other nationalities and I really have huge educational and personal expectations from these studies. The school years were brightened with different memories and I expect that the university years would even leave me even brighter memories than school years. I hope to become professional and successful specialist on the specialty I have chosen and find new and interesting people, whom I can share, my joys and achievements and help them when it is necessary. And I wish everyone of the present here good luck in their future studies.
