Critique 2 of Essays

Critique 2 of Essays
The first essay is coherent and conveys the message of the writer clearly. At the same time, the writer uses few references to articles he/she uses in the essay. Nevertheless, the writer states his/her position clearly and attempts to avoid generalization. The essay refers to reader’s reason and logic using facts that prove the position of the writer. On the other hand, the essay may have little impact on emotions of the audience. Probably, some examples from the personal experience of the writer would be helpful. In general, the essay is well-structured, although the conclusion is not clearly articulated. Moreover, the writer uses the quotation, instead of summarizing his/her ideas and stating clearly his/her position on the issue discussed. Thus, I would give grade B to this essay.
