I am applying to the commission because I consider myself a suitable candidate to be a part of the U.S. Navy. It is an honorable profession, it is respected in the U.S. and I think I belong there. The mission of the United States Navy is to protect and defend the right of the United States; the U.S. Navy functions also include the sea control, power projection and nuclear deterrence. The mission of the Navy is to maintain, train and equip combat-ready naval forces capable of winning wars, deterring aggression and maintaining freedom of the seas.

My professional goals are to dedicate my life to the U.S. Navy, to make a successful career, because I value the U.S. Navy Core Values and it would be an honor to be a part of it.

My personal goals include creating a family and having successful career in the U.S. Navy.

I think I can prove that I have relevant skills and I deserve trust and responsibility. My strengths include attention, bravery, integrity, persistence and leadership. My personal characteristics include being ambitious, serious, action-oriented, organized, goal-oriented, stable, courageous and trustworthy.

I appreciate and respect the U.S. Navy Core Values and they mean dedication and help to fulfill the responsibilities successfully. The principles are indispensable and very inspiring for each person who dedicates his life to the U.S. Navy. Honor, Courage and Commitment are the three basic principles, which, as an officer in the U.S. Navy I would love to follow.
